Meet Eleanor Breslin.

Eleanor Breslin is more than just a mother and attorney; she stands as a dedicated civic leader in her township. Known for her skill in bringing people together and finding solutions, Eleanor plays a crucial role in guiding our community towards success.

Having made history as the first woman elected to lead Tinicum Township, Eleanor’s responsibilities span a six-year term, overseeing fiscally-responsible governance and ensuring the well-being.

In her role as an attorney at the Clean Air Council in Philadelphia, Eleanor champions the cause of a statewide, non-profit health advocacy organization of fighting to protect everyone’s right to breathe clean air. Her strategic litigation and grassroots work fighting alongside communities against the negative impacts of oil and gas infrastructure and pollution.

As a founding and managing partner of Meshkov & Breslin, LLC, Eleanor led a multi-county law practice, focusing on diverse legal matters. Her experience in both state and federal courts has left a lasting positive impact on her clients as well as the legal landscape.

Beyond her professional roles, Eleanor is an active volunteer. Her involvement in PennFuture’s Advocates for Conservation and the Environment (ACE) Program showcases her passion for environmental advocacy. Recognized with the Dedication to Environmental Protection Award, she remains committed to sustainability.

Her pro bono efforts extend to the Allentown Women’s Center, where she serves as Pro Bono Counsel and represents minor petitioners seeking court authorization for medical treatment. She has also volunteered for over a decade with North Penn Legal Services providing free legal representation to low-income families to help them avoid mortgage foreclosure through a court-established mortgage diversionary program, as well as custody disputes, and representing individuals in unemployment compensation hearings.

An alumna of Temple University Law School, Eleanor earned her Juris Doctor… As an Associate Editor for the Temple Environmental Law and Technology Journal, she demonstrated her commitment to legal scholarship. Admitted to the Pennsylvania bar since 2004, Eleanor continues to contribute to the legal field.
